BUEI’s ‘Night at the Museum’ is a fundraising extravaganza guests of all ages can enjoy! With several hands-on activities, a delightful dining experience and live entertainment throughout the building, the evening promises hours of fun for everyone.
For those who like a challenge, there will fun interactive quizzes and a Scavenger Hunt throughout our Ocean Discovery Centre Museum. Play as a team or individually! For entertainment, we’ve got Bermudian authors excited to bring their stories to life, live performances in our theatre and more. And of course, BUEI always has something for the arts and crafts enthusiasts. Put your signature touches on a great takeaway item and on a piece designed public display.
For dinner, you can select your seating time and enjoy a delicious pasta meal catered by the Harbourfront Restaurant. We’ve even arranged for transportation from Hamilton City car parks!
Tickets for this family friendly fundraiser, which include all activities, entertainment, dinner and transportation, are $125 for adults, $75 for children (Kids under two enter for free) or $350 for a package of four tickets*. Each Adult ticket also includes one BUEI tote bag*.
Space is limited. BUEI Members can purchase tickets beginning March 1st , before they go on sale to the public on March 6th. Every ticket purchased supports our efforts in realising BUEI’s vision to ensure “The ocean around Bermuda is widely understood, appreciated and protected”.

How is this a fundraiser?
You get to have fun while supporting a great cause! Most of our highly regarded education programmes are provided free-of-charge to thousands of school children each year. However, as a registered Bermuda charity (#326), BUEI does not receive any government funding. Instead, we rely on the continued financial support of the community to ensure they remain affordable and accessible to the entire community.
Is this event really for 'all ages'?
We’ve selected fun activities that will engage children, pre-teens, teenagers, and adults. There is something going on throughout the evening for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re creative or competitive, prefer to observe or burn off energy!
Can my older kids come without me?
Every person under 17 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
What do our tickets include?
All hands-on activities throughout BUEI, including arts and crafts, fun quizzes and a Scavenger Hunt that can be played as a team or individually. great entertainment and wonderful storytelling. Your ticket also includes dinner served by the Harbourfront, and a tram ride! Adult tickets also include a BUEI canvas tote bag* for personalizing during the evening.

What's for dinner?
Our pasta dinner, catered by the Harbourfront and served buffet style, will be loved by the pickiest of eaters! Bow-tie pasta* can be topped with your choice of a delicious sauce, whether traditional tomato or hearty meat sauce. Of course, plain or with cheese and butter is also an option! A green salad, fresh bread, rolls, and Haagen Daz ice cream for dessert, round out the meal.
A selection of non-alcoholic beverages is included. Wine and beer can also be purchased to enjoy with your meal or sip during the evening!
*Gluten-free pasta available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate other dietary restrictions.
When and where will we eat?
You choose dinnertime! Select your preferred seating time when you purchase your ticket. Dinner will be on BUEI’s Mezzanine level, which will transform into a trattoria for the evening! It can be accessed by the stairs off the main lobby or by the elevator. It’s buffet service with family-style seating.
To ensure you don’t miss out on any of the activities going on throughout the building, plan on spending about 30 minutes for dinner.
What's the deal with parking/transportation?
This Extravaganza begins and ends with a BUEI Tram ride!
BUEI’s Tram will run in a consecutive loop throughout the City of Hamilton from 4:15 pm to 8:45 pm, making designated stops on Front Street, Church Street and King Street before returning to BUEI.
Guests are welcome to drop off family members at BUEI’s Main Entrance prior to parking in the City of Hamilton.
How many tickets are being sold?
We get that you want to spend quality time with your loved ones. Activities are spread throughout BUEI, including in Ocean Discovery Centre Museum, our Theatre, education rooms and expansive lobby areas. Only 240 tickets are being sold to ensure an enjoyable experience!
